Here's a look at important Flyers trading cards over the years, in no particular order or importance.

You can't look at this card too often.  Time stands still until the next Stanley Cup win.

L-C-B.  New comer joined Clarke and Barber to help win the second Stanley Cup.

50clarke1.JPG

Our hero, with the hardware.  An icon for perserverence and determination.
.

50schultz1.JPG

Intimidation help the Flyers win their Stanley Cups.  Here's our poster boy.
.

50lindbergh1.JPG

Fate took him away, but the memory last forever.  Took us to the brink against the team of the 80's, Wayne Gretzky and the Oilers.

50roussel1.JPG

Pinnacle's first mask series from 93/94.  Everyone had to have one of these.  Mask is of our own Dominic Roussell.
.

50hextall2.JPG

Fiery and fiesty.  He never gave up.  First goalie to shoot a puck in an open net.  Gave future goalies the courage to handle the puck better.
.
.

50power1.JPG

The "Legion of Doom" card.  For a period of time, it was impossible to get the puck from them.  If the opponent had a smaller defense, it made for a long night.

50roenick1.JPG

Jeremy's press photo, first card as a Flyer.  Fans loved him.  Fun to watch, an incredible warrior.  Has strong passion for the game, and loves to watch other teams as well.  He kept it interesting..
.
.

50leach1.JPG

The "Rifle".  Clarke said he could.  And he did.  His single season record for a Flyers foward for goals still stands.  Can Gagne take possession of this record?  Stay tuned.

50rboucher.JPG

Brian brought us to the brink.  His stop on Elias against the Devils in the playoffs was incredible.  We traded him to let Cechmanek know he was the clear #1.  Sheesh!
.

50lubrus1.JPG

An incredibly popular Flyer.  Turned out to be a very good NHL'er, but did not grow into the goal scorer the Flyers needed him to be.

50kelly.JPG

The Hound.  Played inspired minutes hitting everything on the ice.  Still around as an embassador for the Flyers.  Can always catch him at games by the season ticket table.

Hey, whats a Stanley Cup team without a picture?  Great card with the Stanley Cup front and center.

50shero1.JPG

Freddy the Fog.  We walk forever with him!

50ashbee1.JPG

A fallen hero that we will never forget.  The Flyers wives carnival began in his memory.

50vanimpe1.JPG

Another big leader for the Cup winners.  Famous for his role against the Russians.
.

50tocchet2.JPG

Captain Rick.  Sent him to Pittsburgh to win a couple of Stanley Cups.  He came back anyway and played great.  Thanks Rick!

50propp1.JPG

Nothing but class.  Propp now is with us again as an announcer.  Scored his 1000th point as a Whaler against the Flyers.
.

50lindros1.JPG

Gave us cause to sit up and pay attention.  Before the nonsense, the most itimidating centerman ever.  Big, fast and nasty.

50renberg1.JPG

Beat out by Jason Arnott for rookie of the year.  Was the Captain of the Lightning for awhile.  After a short stint with Toronto, returned home to family in Sweden.

50recchi1.JPG

The picture of class.  A great team player.  Came back to the Flyers a second time and played even better.

50howe1.JPG

The best defenseman the Flyers ever had.  The year he played with the Beast they were incredible.  Most nights the fastest player on the ice.
.

50barber1.JPG

Beat out by Steve Vickers for rookie of the year.  Would love to talk to those sports writers.  Barber put together some of the greatest numbers ever by a left wing.

50flett1.JPG

Cowboy Bill Flett.  The beard helped to lawless image of the Flyers.  Tough and strong.  Sadly Bill died too young.

50holmgren.JPG

Homer.  Grit and intensity.  Was the Head coach of the Whalers before coming back to help Clarke out.  Now a top general manager in the NHL for the Flyers.

50recordbreaker1.JPG

Hockey's greatest consecutive effort recognized.  35 games without a loss.

50parent2.JPG

Bernie Parent's rookie card.  In the odd event that the opponent got a shot on goal, Bernie stopped it.  If the Flyers were in the penaly box, Bernie stopped it.  The ultimate team player and soldier.
.

50dornhoefer.JPG

Another loyal foot soldier frequently found in the crease. Gary now a PR man for the Flyers and can be found on the concourse at home games.

50forsberg2.JPG

The only rookie card of this great player. Found his way back for all to brief a time. Injuries prevented him from helping us further.

50gagne1.JPG

Gagne's only rookie card. Flyers fans look forward to a healthy year form him.

50poulin1.JPG

Scored one of the most famous goals in Flyers playoff history.  A shorthanded 5 on 3 goal against the Nordiques.  I heard the entire city of Philadelphia scream.

50leclair.JPG

Came to the Flyers with Desjardins.  Road shot gun for Lindros racking up incredible goal totals before injury wore out his back.

50clement.JPG

Bill Clement's rookie card.  For the longest time his only Flyers card.  Played on both Stanley Cup teams.  Fun to listen to as he is so passionate about hockey.

50linseman1.JPG

The Rat.  Great picture reference in this retro card from Fleer.  Ken's biggest contribution to the Flyers?  Getting traded to the Whalers for Mark Howe.

50dupont1.JPG

Tough and big.  Fun to watch.  On the rare occasion he would score a goal, he would do the "Moose Shuffle".
.

50primeau1.JPG

Primeau played as well as anybody could in the playoffs.  If the Flyers had won the cup in 03/04, he would have been Conn Smythe.  Traded for the very popular Rod Brind'amour.

50brindy1.JPG

Now the Hurricanes Captain.  Another very popular Flyer.  Traded for Primeau.  At the time not a popular move, but looks pretty good now.

As a Flyers fan you need as much reminding as you can get.  Here's our card, with our first cup.  I need more cup cards.  Lets Go Flyers!
