Jake Voracek got the party started with a goal late in the first period on Easter Sunday to cut the Ranger lead to 2-1.  He finished +1 with a hit in 18 minutes of ice time.
Ray Emery was awesome, after allowing 2 goals on the first four shots he stopped 29 straight on Easter Sunday.

Last weeks answer and winner:  After Jaromir Jagr left the Flyers two years ago, he joined the Dallas Stars. At the deadline he was traded to the Boston Bruins. He now skates with the New Jersey Devils. In his short time with the Bruins, it was the fist time that Jagr had a team-mate that was ________. Fill in the blank!  The answer is "Taller".  Zdeno Chara was the first team-mate that was taller than Jagr.  First with the correct answer was Kevin K. from Largo Florida.

Razor, Akeson comeback stronger, Flyers win GAME 2 on Luke Schenn goal
Luke Schenn scored the game winning goal on Sunday against the Rangers.  It was his first ever playoff goal.  He finished +1, 2 hits, 2 blocked shots in almost 18 minutes of ice time.
Wayne Simmonds carried the puck out of the offensive zone past several Rangers and chipped in the puck into the open net to bury the Rangers on Sunday.  It was Wayne's first goal of the series.

      Jake Voracek (end of first period), Jason Akeson (2nd period), Luke Schenn (2nd period) and Wayne Simmonds (empty netter) scored four straight  goals to overcome a 2-0 Rangers lead in New York on Easter Sunday as the Flyers evened the seven game series at 1 game apiece. 
      The Flyers penalty kill was amazing killing 5 of 6 penalties.  Something the Flyers will have to shore up if they are going to have long term success against the Rangers.  
      Ray Emery was sharp in stopping 31 Rangers shots, including the last 29 in a row.
